About the Journal

Revista Criterios is an open-access scientific journal of a multidisciplinary nature, aimed at the dissemination of research results from diverse fields of knowledge, adopting both disciplinary and interdisciplinary approaches. It is published by the Publishing House of Universidad Mariana, Colombia, and is addressed to researchers, academics, authors, and readers at both national and international levels.

As of 2026, the journal adopts a continuous publication model, with the purpose of streamlining editorial processes and promoting the timely dissemination of scientific knowledge. It publishes articles in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, mainly in the following categories: (a) research articles; (b) reflection articles; and (c) review articles. The costs associated with editorial processes and procedures are covered by the publishing institution.
