Abstract

According to the International Association for the Study of Pain, 2020, pain is defined as an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience related to tissue or potential damage, because it is one of the symptoms that patients suffering from cancer are most afraid of, this is a disease that is difficult to understand and faces not only for the patient but also for their families, since it in a certain way limits their daily activities, where the caregiver assumes new responsibilities for permanent care during hospital and out-of-hospital stays, focusing on the care explained by health professionals, to contribute significantly to the recovery of the suffering person
